I’m 23 now, been lifting seriously since I was 16. I weigh 170, max at 295-300, and am only 5′5″. First off, everyone’s body is different. As long as you feel ok, then you can keep taking anything. One very important thing to be aware of is your hydration. You need to take at least 64oz of water a day to take pressure of your liver. You won’t feel any side effects, but over the course of many years, your liver can get fucked up if you keep pumping supplements into your body without properly using them. If you take supplements, you need to watch your alcohol intake because that combined with the supplements really can fuck up your liver and cause you serious problems when you get older. Personally, black powder is my favorite preworkout energy supplement. I’ve tried them all. MRI is a popular brand because they use a very stable formula. If you were to try something like NaNO Vapor, sometimes you will be fine, other times you may break out with a red rash and feel real hot. That’s because putting too much NO into your body without an adequate delivery system causes your body to release that energy in different ways, sometimes a rash and hot flashes. With cycling…everyone you talk to will have a different opinion. Mine is this: 1) it takes the human body 21 days to make or break habits. This rule can be applied to almost everything, even weight lifting. 2) with that in mind, after about 1 month, you would have lifted consistently for about 21 days, including taking black powder. After that, your body gets used to it and it begins to use its effect. It’s almost as if your body gets immune to it. Therefore, I believe cycling 1 month on, 1 month off any supplement is the best possible idea for two main reasons. First, 1 month is just enough time for your body to not get used to the supplement and its effect. When your are on your month off, you will lose a little noticable strength, but nothing disheartening. Second, when you get back on after taking a month off, your body will experience that initial shock similar to the first few times you took it, which will hopefully help you to keep increasing your strentgth. This is a lot to of stuff to try to type up, it’s a lot easier to talk about it, but I hope you understand what I’m trying to say and it’s helpful.

NO Xplode & Creatine help!!?

Im 16 years old and around 5′5″. Im thinking about taking NO Xplode to get me more energized during my workouts.
Im pretty short as you can see, will it effect my height development in any way? Because I heard it has large amounts of caffeine.
and are there any bad side effects AT ALL?

Or should I just take creatine? Any side effects with creatine? and does it also get you pump during you workouts?

thanks, any help at all would be appreciated.

ah I would wait on taking most supplements until you are at LEAST 18…a sugar free energy drink will energize you good enough but make sure you are eating a good diet as that is the biggest contributor….get your carbs and protein and a little fat well in advance of your work out (1.5-2.5 hours) and eat a protein bar and drink a sugar free energy drink ( maybe half if it is the bigger products) around 30 minutes before working out and stay pumped and work out intense (but smart) and stand up in between sets NO NO XPLODE and NO CREATINE at your age, besides you need to build a base…get into your nitric and creatine in 2-3 years

L-Glutamine is a wonder supplement in bodybuilding circles. It has so many benefits that it is a wonder that you don’t hear more about it. It is an amino acid, which is important in metabolism, volumizing of cells, and the prevention of catabolism (where the muscles feed on themselves). These are just a few of the benefits, but you don’t hear much about the l-glutamine side effects.

This is largely in part to the fact that there really aren’t any side effects of l-glutamine. That doesn’t mean that nobody ever has a problem with it. It just means that as a whole, you shouldn’t experience any side effects.

Some people, however, are allergic to this amino acid, and may experience adverse side effects. Some people, who are not actually allergic, may experience strange reactions – such as an overwhelming feeling of sleepiness. Others may experience a burst of nervous energy.

Some may experience diarrhea, which is currently the only known side effect of l-glutamine, and is usually only experienced when the person is taking too much of this supplement each day. In this case, it is best to discontinue use of l-glutamine, until you feel better, and then try again with a lower dosage. Experts agree that it is safe to consume between 500 and 4000mg of this amino acid each day.

Most experts agree that there are no real side effects of l-glutamine because it naturally occurs in the body. It also does not cause any health problems. However, as with anything else, when the levels of this amino acid are too high, this can cause adverse problems.

In light of there not being any side effects of l-glutamine, there are numerous benefits – especially for bodybuilders. It is essential to muscle growth, and it is an anti-catabolic amino acid, which prevents the muscles from feeding on themselves. It contains a growth hormone, it burns fat, it makes the brain more active, and stimulates the immune system. L-glutamine also aids in quicker recovery of damaged muscle tissue, which happens each time you workout.

However, when you work out, the levels of this supplement in your system decrease. This is why taking an l-glutamine supplement is so essential for bodybuilders. The amino acid itself does not have side effects; however, there are side effects of not having enough it in your system.

What this means for you, as a bodybuilder, is that as long as you are not taking more than 4000mg of l-glutamine a day, you don’t have to worry about the side effects. Instead, you can focus on the benefits. So, while you want to ensure that you get plenty of protein, you also need to realize that this supplement is also important, and make sure that you are getting the proper dose of this important amino acid as well.
